About

I’m a performer, dancer, & maker

exploring

the intimacy of materiality,

the strangeness of fleeting encounters,

and the overlooked possibilities of aloneness.

Artistic Practice

I make things for love, loneliness, and solitude. Whether I’m giving shape to breath with a latex balloon; smearing tinted violet lips on the hands of strangers; repeatedly striking light at the feet of spectators for the scent of wax and sulfur; or using a flickering bulb to drift through a sea of handwritten letters…I aim to create series of actions or contemplative moments through performance that alter, enhance, and disrupt our waking life.

Curatorial Aspiration

I am driven by a curatorial desire to actualize alternative ways to be alone together. I focus on practices steeped in care and attention that culminate in documented performances made in the absence of a physically present audience, material objects, texts, and live occurrences; all of which leave traces that break down memory, time, and place.
